Wolverhampton has been recognized as being the fifth worst city in the world 2009 (The Lonely Planet Guide poll) and was named in the top five of the most uncultured cities in the country (Royal Society of Arts ratings), the UK’s most miserable city in 2015 (ONS) and the UK’s most promiscuous city, 2017, Sun on Sunday survey.
