Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists present the annual Wolverhampton Literature Festival Poetry Slam. Join your MCs, Steve Pottinger, Dave Pitt and Emma Purshouse for a slamtastic Saturday.
Witness 15 poets battle it out in a live poetry competition to become slam champion for 2022. Come along and be bedazzled by bardic bravery, whoop for your favourite wordsmith.

Emma Purshouse and Steve Pottinger will be performing poetry for Saturday Books’ Poetry Breakfast. Later in the day there will be a Christmas Fair in the bookshop, so why not come along and make a day of it.
Emma will be signing copies of her new poetry collection ‘It’s Honorary, Bab’. This book is part diary extracts and part poems that detail Emma’s time spent as the first Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton. Also to buy on the day will be Emma’s first poetry collection ‘Close’ and her novel ‘Dogged’. A great opportunity to get Christmas presents for the readers in your life.
